ESR12 – Norway: the place to be for a digital pathology passionate.
Not only was the country I found it beautiful, with all the amazing landscapes and fiords, but I also found more than interesting a place where they understand the importance of implementing digital pathology in the pathology laboratory workflow.
ESR8 – Three completed secondments at the UPV, Tyris and INCLIVA
Arne Schmidt (ESR8) completed three secondments at different host institutions in Valencia– the Polytechnical University of Valencia, the software company Tyris Software and the medical research center INCLIVA.
ESR10 – Bridging the gap between computational pathology, molecular data, and clinical practice in bladder cancer
Computational pathology has shown promising results in improving diagnosis and prognosis in bladder cancer by developing several AI-based applications such as grading, staging, and predicting clinical outcome.
ESR9 – Color normalization is a life jacket for Content-Based Image Retrieval
The main goal of this secondment was to analyze the impacts of color normalization on the results of Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) which is completely achieved.
